That the division become one of the most important scientific, research and service platforms in the country and participate effectively in environmental challenges at the national, regional and international levels.

That the Division lead the support of national capabilities in research and development for environmental studies and the use of remote sensing technology and geographic information systems to produce services and products that will preserve environmental sustainability and achieve sustainable development goals. The Division also provides environmental and technical expertise and consultations to the community in studies and research specialized in environmental studies. The Division also represents the Authority and the State in achieving regional and international visions for preserving the environment.
