The National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Science participates in the first Scientific Forum on Space Technology at the University of Beni Suef.

The National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Science participated in the first scientific forum on "Space technology and community service," organized by the University of Beni Suef. In a statement to the Commission today, Wednesday, the Commission noted that the Forum was based on its leading role in supporting sustainable development efforts and serving society through the provision of innovative and effective technical solutions in various environmental and economic areas. During the meeting, Dr. Dalia Al-Faqi delivered a lecture on the role of sensors in achieving sustainable development goals and community service, referring to the role of the Authority and its diverse scientific activities, on behalf of Dr. Islam Abu Al-Magd, Chairman of the Authority. She highlighted the efforts made by the Authority to cooperate with various agencies in the country to achieve the goals of sustainable development and community service in various areas, including agriculture, strategic agriculture inventory and reclamation of agricultural land, as well as the detection of groundwater and mineral wealth and the fight against pollution. It noted the positive impact of the application of advanced space technology on the achievement of these objectives. At the end of the events, Dr. Dalia Al-Faqi received on behalf of Dr. Islam Abu Al-Magd, Chairman of the Authority, the shield of the University, presented by Dr. Sameh Al-Marghi, Vice-President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
