The
Military Technical College signed a protocol of cooperation with the Arab
Industrialization Commission with a view to taking advantage of the scientific
and technological capabilities and infrastructure available for the preparation
and rehabilitation of scientific and engineering personnel, the care of
innovators and the provision of technical and engineering solutions for the
development of local production in the various manufacturing sectors. The
protocol was signed by Major General Dr. Motaz Ibrahim Abu Al-Nur, Director of
the Military Technical College, and General Engineer Abdurrahman Abdul-Aadim
Osman, Director General of the Arab Industrialization Commission, in the
presence of Major General A.H. Mokhtar Abdullatif, Chairman of the Arab
Industrialization Commission. This is part of the concern of the armed forces
to promote integration in scientific fields in cooperation with major academic
and research bodies and institutions to serve society and support development
efforts in various sectors.
In the same context, the Director of the Military Technical College and
Professor Islam Hamza Abu Al-Magd, acting as Chairman of the National Authority
for Remote Sensing and Space Science, signed a protocol of cooperation aimed at
integrating scientific, practical and research efforts and exchanging
experiences between the two sides in the fields of advanced technology and
applications of remote sensing and space science, by exploiting the scientific,
technical and technological skills and expertise available in each region,
thereby supporting national efforts to achieve development, improve
environmental services and establish and manage technological incubators in the
field of electronics, information and communication technology and their
applications in the service of the Egyptian community.
The signing ceremony was attended by a number of members of the teaching staff
of the Military Technical College and officials of the Arab Industrialization
Commission and the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences.
