The head of the Remote Sensing Authority attends the opening of President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi for the first phase of the industrial zone and the start of the harvest season with Egypt's future project for sustainable development

In the presence and honor of President of the Republic, Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, the President of the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Science, Dr. Islam Abu Al-Magd, attended the opening of the first phase of the industrial zone and the beginning of the harvest season with the project for Egypt's future for sustainable development.
Dr. Islam Abu Al-Magd explained that the Authority's participation in this vital project was based on its leading role in supporting sustainable development projects in Egypt, given its efficiency and distinct potential in the field of remote sensing and space technology, and drew attention to the role of the Authority in providing accurate data and information to enable sound decision-making in various fields.
The Authority was committed to supporting Egypt's efforts to achieve sustainable development goals. The future project for Egypt was a pilot for integrated development that combined economic, social and environmental dimensions. The Commission was developing its capacities and building partnerships with various stakeholders in order to strengthen its role in supporting sustainable development projects in Egypt and achieving the goals of Egypt's Vision 2030.
It should be noted that the Commission has concluded a cooperation agreement with the project for the future of Egypt, with a view to utilizing its expertise and potential in supporting the project at its various stages, beginning with planning and design, and continuing with its implementation and follow-up, in order to achieve evaluation and development.
