Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher
Education and Scientific Research, stressed the importance of supporting ideas
and emerging companies that offer new and innovative ideas in various fields
and helping them to reach out to emerging companies for the benefit of society
and the national economy.
Under the supervision of Dr. Islam Abu Al-Magd, President of the National
Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Science, and Dr. Jenna Al-Feki,
President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, the incubator
for remote sensing and space science has seen the final presentation day of the
emerging companies Demo Day.
Dr. Islam Abu Al-Magd pointed out that the incubator aimed to support ideas and
emerging and innovative companies in the areas of remote sensing and space
science and to provide support to people with creative ideas and help them
reach out to emerging companies that were settling out to sensory technology
and supporting the State' s strategy to achieve Egypt' s Vision 2030.
The Chairman added that the application of remote sensing technology was of
great importance in most national projects and contributed actively to the
achievement of sustainable development goals.
Dr. Ghada Khodry, director of the remote sensing incubator, explained that the
incubator had provided a distinct training camp for advanced ideas for their
qualification to the labor market, and the incubator was working to provide the
appropriate environment, financial and technical support through a pool of
experts and networking of potential incubator investors, to increase and
strengthen support for these companies and increase their productive and
competitive capacity.
The events were attended by Dr. Abdullah Gad, Professor of the Authority, Dr.
Ashraf Helmi, Head of the Data Analysis Division of the Authority,
Dr. Jasmine Samir, Executive Director
of the National Technological Incubatorship Programme of the Academy of
Scientific Research and Technology, Dr. Amr Al-Ommari, Director of the
Incubator of the University of Banha, Engineer Hatem Abu Al Ezz, Business and
Innovation Consultant, and Engineer Tamer Ahmed, Commercial Partner and
Training Officer for the Incubator.
